2.1 About AssetIndex

AssetIndex is operated by Nexvira Technologies Ltd, a private company registered in England and Wales. The platform provides a secure, privacy-first registry that allows users to organise descriptive information about their assets and define conditional disclosure to trusted contacts.

AssetIndex is not a bank, broker, custodian, investment adviser, or insurance provider. We do not hold money, manage investments, or offer financial or legal advice.

2.2 Eligibility

To use AssetIndex, you must:

• Be 18 years or older.
• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.
• Use the platform in accordance with applicable laws.

You agree to provide accurate, current information when creating and maintaining your account.

2.3 Your Registry

You control the structure and content of your registry. You may:

• Create, edit, or remove asset metadata.
• Add or remove trusted contacts.
• Adjust check-in cadence, grace periods, and disclosure permissions.

You acknowledge that you must not include sensitive credentials (e.g., passwords, account numbers, PINs, or copies of documents) in any field. AssetIndex is designed for metadata only.

2.4 Conditional Disclosure

AssetIndex notifies your designated trusted contacts only when the conditions you have set — such as inactivity beyond a defined grace period — are met. Disclosure is automatic and triggered by the system, not by manual review.

You agree that:

• The accuracy of your contacts and instructions is your responsibility.
• You are responsible for ensuring your trusted contacts can be reached at the email addresses provided.
• You may modify or revoke disclosure rules at any time before they trigger.

2.5 Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Impersonate others, misrepresent your identity, or share account access.
• Use AssetIndex to store unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful information.
• Interfere with the integrity, security, or availability of the platform.
• Attempt to access another user's data.
• Use automated systems to interact with the service without permission.

Misuse may result in suspension or termination of access.

2.6 Intellectual Property

AssetIndex's branding, design, platform architecture, and source materials are owned by Nexvira Technologies Ltd. You may not copy, modify, or distribute platform content without written authorisation.

Your registry data remains your property.

2.7 Limitation of Liability

AssetIndex provides a software service. We aim for reliability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation or absolute accuracy.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Nexvira Technologies Ltd is not liable for losses arising from inaccurate information you provide.
• We are not responsible for the actions or omissions of your trusted contacts.
• We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses related to use of the service.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

2.8 Termination

You may terminate your account at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access if:

• You violate these terms.
• Your use poses a security or legal risk.
• Continued operation becomes impossible due to circumstances outside our control.

In the event of platform discontinuation, users will be notified in advance and provided opportunity to export their data.

2.9 Modifications to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated by email or platform notice at least 30 days before they take effect.

Continued use of AssetIndex after such changes constitutes acceptance.

2.10 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply.
